Is Organic Livestock Production More Humane than Conventional?

A common misconception consumers, and sometimes even potential organic producers have is that organic livestock production is much more humane and animal-friendly than conventional production. However, while it does help ensure human and planet safety from stuff like pesticides and unnatural chemicals, organic policy is not particularly strong when it comes to animal welfare.
