Whole Foods Becomes First National Retailer to Require Organic Certification for All Body Care Products

As of now, Whole Foods Market has become the first grocer to officially require organic certification for all body care products, putting them ahead of even FDA and National Organic Program policy standards.

This move, while 2 years in the making is a positive one for the organic industry and consumers alike. No longer will consumers need to wonder if they're paying for actual organic goods or products that have been falsely labeled as "organic." Manufacturers of organic goods will also benefit as fewer false organic body care products will be stealing sales from real, certified organics.
