It's not too early to start thinking about how you'll be marketing organic berries this year. Before you know it, blueberry season in the U.S. will be kicking off with harvesting from mid-April through early October and other berry choices will be harvest-ready shortly after.

It's wise to put some extra thought into your berry marketing plan. Research shows that berry sales have hit all-time highs in recent years, and there's no reason to think 2012 will be any different. This year, if you need a different strategy for marketing berries, consider health. Not only do recent studies show that berries pack a powerful nutritional punch due to their vitamin, fiber and antioxidant content, but organic berries in particular are mega healthy.
With consumers more concerned about healthy eating, this is a great time to focus on all the huge health benefits of berries and work those benefits into your marketing plan when selling to consumers or larger businesses.
